Vanilla version, I'm currently playing Knee-Deep in ZDoom (KDiZD) with that version of this mod. It seems that you cannot encounter custom enemies with Brutal Doom version (and the original v21 Gold) since it's already replaced these enemies with decorate files, unless these BD enemies are standalone decorate files. gabrez slot
